Clothing tags are generally used to provide customers with information such as brand, price, origin, ingredient, and purpose, and are generally removable from products.

Since clothing tags are used to guarantee the monitoring of the entire process from production to sales, they are required to ensure traceability and completeness of information. Generally, sharpness, durability and scratch resistance should be ensured for information on the clothing tags.

For tags or cards with rough surfaces, wax ribbons with a thick ink layer can be selected. This type of ribbons can offer good printing quality for tags with rough surfaces thanks to(because of) their low melting point and thick coating. Meanwhile, they also have some resistance to scratch, with the best cost-effective performance. Optional ribbons of Todaytec's WAX series include TDW121, TDW132 and TDW136. For fine and smooth surfaces, synthetic materials and printed high-quality tags, wax/resin ribbons with high scratch resistance can be selected because they boast better durability and scratch resistance and perform better in keeping information complete. Optional ribbons include TDM201, TDM238, and TDM240(P).
